Tarot Card Reading

www.marveena.com – Hi there I’m MarVeena Meek. Today we are going to talk about ways that you can protect the vibrations of your cards and how to care for your tarot cards. I am very picky about my cards. I really don’t like for anyone else to touch my cards. Occasionally I will let other people touch them but I would prefer to handle them myself. Some people will keep a separate deck of cards for their personal readings and another deck of cards that they use for their professional readings and that is what I like to do and what I recommend also. I also smudge my cards before a reading and after I do a reading. I have a smudge mix recipe I have in another video that you can look at. The way that you create a smudge is with equal amounts of sage, cedar, sweet grass and lavender. And they all bring a different quality to what we are doing. Use the cedar because it is very clearing and cleansing and helps to banish any negativity that the cards might have accumulated. Use the cedar to bring clarity to your reading. Use the lavender and sweet grass to bring beauty and a really high, strong frequency. I always smudge my cards before and after. I always put the mixture in a fireproof container. After you light it you blow out the flame until it is just smoking then hold your cards over the smoke. I like to really smoke them good.
